"from Beggars to Millionaires" by Micheal Lum

Yesterday went to the library to borrow 4 books after reading a morning suggestion by Brian Tracy on

"
If you read only one book per month, that will put you into the top 1% of income earners in our society. But if you read one book per week, 50 books per year, that will make you one of the best educated, smartest, most capable and highest paid people in your field. Regular reading will transform your life completely."

So the first book I read was from Micheal Lum and he mention NLP fundamentals are modeling. And this are 3 people he mention about the strategy they made through modeling

Sir Terence Conran

1. Do market research. Find out what the company's relationship is with its customers. What business is it in?
2. Decide on the design policy for the group. The product is the most important element.
3. Build a design team. Get the right buyers.
4. Study the environment in which the products would be sold. Ask the customers how the store should look like.
5. Initiate a program of refurbishment.
6. Put in the retail system, stock control and human resources system.
7. Advertise to inform people of the change.

Aristotle Onassis
1. Take care of your body. Look as good as you can. You are never as ugly as you think. Don't worry about minor problems.
2. Eat in moderation. Avoid rich foods and wine when you have urgent work to do. Spending hours eating is the fastest way to the graveyard.
3. Have a good meal with your friends. Never talk business at the table.
4. Exercise to stay fit. Yoga is good for both the mind and the body.
5. Go suntanning. Sun represents money.
6. After taking care of your body, live a fancy lifestyle. Live in a beautiful house even if it means that you have to live in the attic. Frequent places visited by the rich and famous. Visit high class cafe even if it means you have to sip from one cup all night long. Solitude visits those who are millionaires.
7. If you are short of money, borrow. Never borrow a small amount. Borrow big. Settle the loan as soon as you can.
8. Never confide your problems to anyone. Always pretend that you are doing well.
9. Don't sleep in excess, otherwise when you wake up, you would tell yourself that you have failed. The time you save in not sleeping is the time you can use to succeed.

Soichiro Honda
1. Always be ambitious and youthful.
2. Respect sound theories, find new ideas and devote time improving production.
3. Take pleasure in your work and try to make your working conditions as pleasant as possible.
4. Constantly look for a smooth harmonious working rhythm.
5. Always keep in mind the value of research and hard work.

Steps in Modeling
1. Choose a businessperson or a business you want to model.
2. Cultivate a friendship with this person. Know the person's way of thinking, value system, belief structure and strategies. If it is a business, learn about it in great depth.
3. Observe the person's action or the operation of the business.
4. See yourself as millionaire conversing with the person on the same level. See yourself owning and operating a successful business. Nurture the image of yourself as millionaire, hear the sound of your award winning speeches and feel your emotions as you step inside your bungalow.
5. Mentally rehearse the strategies of the businessperson or the operation of the business. Doing this adds to your confidence and leads to the perfect execution of your plans. You will unconsciously drift towards your goals.
6. Take action now. Execute your plan now to ignite your personal power.
7. Make slight changes occasionally, until you feel you have perfected your model.
8. Learn continuously. Be a lifelong learner. In basic NLP belief, you cannot not learn.

Chap 1: The Making of a Millionaire Entrepreneur

Secrets of Building Multi-Million Dollar Business | Chapter 1

He started of identifying the mindset of Employees' vs Entrepreneur's Mindset
#1 When things go wrong, entrepreneurs take full responsibilities and change to make it better.
#2 Everything that affects the business affects me regardless of job scope.
#3 Dare to venture and making mistakes to fail to learn.
#4 Stand out and challenge the norm. Think and do differently. Nothing to lose anyway.
#5 Make things happen. Thinks ahead.
#6 Stay away from comfort zone.

How the above affects me?
1. When children can't perform or swim, I need to ask their understanding so that I can instruct them better base on their abilities.
2. If the schools projects keep pressing the rate of the coaches, we were never be seen as professionals and this profession will forever be retain for elders. No new blood would ever come in.
3. Create a new market for non related industry to be interlink, for elderly, infants, medically challenge.
4. Just do the number 3. You still have number 1 to take the backseat.
5. I need to create my profession and service and how is it different from conventional teachings/coaches to industry from kindergarten, schools and elderly folks.
6. WAKE UP!
